Wednesday, May 03, 2006 gainfully employed hog wild in the land of opportunity As many of you are aware, I took a job earlier this year to ride herd on the Krugle blog. As many of you are not aware, I accidentally grew a beard since the last time anyone saw me (I forgot to shave last week). Currently, I'm visiting Krugle corporate HQ in Menlo Park to complete my "orientation" training, and so far I gotta say it's been pretty weird. I mean, Krugle is a dynamite company and all, and I've known CEO Steve Larsen for many years, but much to my surprise he seems to have become a tad... well... authoritarian. The fingerprinting yesterday was bad enough, but when I came in this morning and he made me pose for these mug shots... I dunno. I may have to rethink this whole "working for the man" thing. 5:55 PM | link | |
